Description
Our client, a Christian School, is looking for an additional Occupational Therapist who will be responsible for developing physical rehabilitation programs, among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
1. Learner Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify learners' physical, emotional, developmental, or social challenges.
· Evaluate learners' home and/or work environments to determine potential barriers to independence.
2. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on learner assessments and goals.
· Collaborate with learners, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to set realistic, measurable outcomes.
3. Therapeutic Interventions: Design and implement therapeutic activities to improve learners' abilities in daily living and working.
· Use adaptive tools and techniques to assist learners in maximizing functional independence.
· Provide rehabilitative exercises and education on energy conservation and joint protection.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor learners' progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
· Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication Skills.
- Child care training skills.
- Computer Skills.
