Lab Technician

We are looking for a skilled and organized Lab Technician to join our science department. The ideal candidate will support teachers and students by managing laboratory equipment, preparing materials for experiments, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up materials, equipment, and chemicals for science lessons and experiments.
• Assist teachers during practical lessons when needed.
• Ensure that all lab equipment is properly maintained, stored, and calibrated.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory inventory and order supplies when necessary.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Provide guidance to students on the proper use of laboratory tools and safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Laboratory Technology, Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or school setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
