Description
We are seeking to hire a Stores Clerk with hands-on experience in a garage environment. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of vehicle spare parts and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of spare parts and other garage supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using both manual and digital systems.
• Organize and store items in the correct locations within the store.
• Issue spare parts and tools to mechanics as required and maintain issuance records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any variances.
• Assist in ordering and restocking items based on usage trends.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the stores area.
• Liaise with suppliers and service teams on stock needs and deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a garage or auto repair setting.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle spare parts, tools, and accessories.
• Proficient in stock management systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A degree or diploma in Storekeeping, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is an added advantage.
