Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a valid and active driving license with a clean driving record.
Key Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience preferred, especially in manufacturing or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with GPS, route planning, and the Kenyan road network.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Identify new customers and grow existing accounts within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
- Process orders and coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and conduct regular follow-ups.
- Deliver samples and occasionally assist in order deliveries, particularly in remote areas.
- Drive safely to client locations while adhering to traffic and company policies.
- Collect payments and follow up on outstanding credit balances.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and submit periodic sales reports.
- Participate in marketing activations, exhibitions, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Share market intelligence and customer feedback with the team to support continuous improvement.
