Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Sales Representative to drive sales in solar energy products, plumbing materials, and construction supplies. The role is full-time, based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a focus on identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in the solar, plumbing, or construction materials industry and a strong ability to develop and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales & Market Development: Identify and engage potential clients in the solar, plumbing, and construction sectors.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong connections with distributors, contractors, project developers, and government agencies.
• Product Promotion: Present and demonstrate LESSO’s solar energy solutions and construction products to potential customers.
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations to secure sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Market Research & Analysis: Track industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Sales Execution: Implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market insights.
Qualifications & Skills
1. At least 2 years of sales experience in solar energy, plumbing, or construction materials.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and proactive.
5. Ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
