Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is required.
- Additional training in ICT governance, systems integration, or cybersecurity is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT project management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, network infrastructure, ERP platforms, and software development lifecycles.
- Proven proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects concurrently under strict timelines.
Key Competencies
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of ICT projects involving ERP systems, infrastructure, and digital solutions.
- Develop project strategies, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation frameworks aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate and supervise internal project teams, vendors, and consultants.
- Ensure adherence to ICT governance, cybersecurity policies, and compliance with Kenya’s Data Protection Act.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), post-implementation reviews, and documentation.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, KPIs, risks, and outcomes.
- Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of new systems across departments.
