Description
Our Client, a professional Membership Society, is looking to engage an Administrator. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a blend of administrative competence, stakeholder engagement, regulatory awareness, and basic financial capability.
Desired Qualities:
- Proven ability to manage records, databases, schedules, and office operations with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional documents and engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, responsiveness to member needs, and commitment to delivering high-quality service and support.
- Knowledge of Kenyan regulatory frameworks, organizational by-laws, and support for governance structures such as Boards, AGMs, and compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, membership management systems (CRMs), and basic digital tools for communication, reporting, and web updates.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting, monthly reconciliations, and understanding of QuickBooks.
- Experience organizing professional events such as workshops, AGMs, and CPD programs, including logistics, vendor coordination, and member engagement.
- High ethical standards, confidentiality, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and continuous process improvement.
