Description

Our client in the education center based in Kasarani, Nairobi is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the above position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in ingredients preparations this includes (chopping, peeling, sorting, cutting, etc.)
  • Prepare and serve meals for learners, staff, and during events.
  • Ensure timely serving of all meals throughout the day.
  • Ensure there is a constant supply of clean and fresh water for cleaning and cooking.
  • Participate in food preparation, and follow cateress’s instructions on general kitchen operation.
  • Ensure a great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
  • Follow cateress’s instructions on menus accordingly to ensure proper nutrition and healthy eating.
  • Ensure safe food storage and proper management of food and kitchen items in the stores and kitchen.
  • Check the quality of meal ingredients as per the day’s menu.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Certificate in Food production or catering
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • A valid certificate of good conduct
  • Valid medical certificate
