Our client in the education center based in Kasarani, Nairobi is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the above position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct activities of kitchen assistants in preparation and serving of meals.
• Compile and maintain a record of food used and wastage.
• Train and ensure that staff serving points know how to measure quantities whilst serving different age groups.
• Train new employees in preparation and all the required kitchen duties
• Monitoring menus and ensuring meals are prepared economically
• Ensure full compliance on food handling and storage.
• Ensure the removal of all food from the kitchen by packaging it safely or managing waste to ensure safe and hygienic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Food production or catering
• 2 years of relevant experience
• A valid certificate of good conduct
• Valid medical certificate
