UNDERWRITING OFFICER

Our client, an insurance brokerage company based in Nairobi, is seeking to fill the above position. You will be responsible for the day-to-day underwriting functions in line with company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare management reports.

Manage all underwriting functions.

Client relationship management including visitations and training.

Balance business mix in both product and insurance companies.

Generate new business through marketing activities & increase company visibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree Insurance option or Diploma (AIIK).

Knowledge of insurance and re-insurance.

Report writing, negotiation, analytical, presentation and decision-making skills.

At least 4 years proven experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in leadership.
