Company Driver

Our client is looking for a dedicated Driver to transport/deliver clients orders effectively to their destinations. The ideal candidate will ensure that orders are delivered on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods and packages to specified destinations on time.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the company vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Schedule routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Complete and submit any required paperwork, such as delivery receipts and trip reports.
• Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and documents are up to date.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transportation.
• Use safety equipment and seat belts at all times.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial vehicles).
• Have at least 2 years of proven experience as a truck driver
