Description
Our client, a Christian School in the Education Sector, seeks to recruit a Curriculum and Co-Curricular Coordinator responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of both the academic curriculum and co-curricular programs. This role ensures excellence in teaching, learning, and holistic student development through well-managed academic and co-curricular activities. The role requires strategic leadership, curriculum oversight, quality assurance, and the ability to foster a vibrant co-curricular environment.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Academic Leadership and Curriculum Management
- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the school’s academic curriculum across all subjects and year groups.
- Ensure that teaching and learning meet high standards aligned with the school’s mission, educational goals, and current pedagogical practices.
- Monitor curriculum delivery, lesson planning, schemes of work, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Organize curriculum reviews, updates, and professional development sessions for teaching staff.
- Participate in developing and reviewing the school timetable to balance academic and co-curricular commitments.
- Analyze academic performance data and recommend strategies for improvement.
2. Co-Curricular Program Management
- Coordinate all school co-curricular programs, including clubs, sports, arts, leadership development, and special interest activities.
- Oversee both internal and outsourced co-curricular service providers, ensuring alignment with the school’s values and quality expectations.
- Develop and implement a yearly co-curricular calendar, including events, competitions, exhibitions, and performances.
- Lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of co-curricular offerings to enhance student engagement and skill development.
- Facilitate mentorship and life skills programs for students, with termly reports shared with parents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in academic leadership and/or co-curricular program management.
- Valid certificate of good conduct
