Investments Analyst Intern

Our client in the investments industry based in Nairobi is looking to fill the above position. He/She will provide research and accurate information to help fund managers make decisions about investments for clients.

Duties and responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on companies and industries by researching and reading financial statements and market data.
• Analyze financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to determine how an organization is positioned to deliver for investors.
• Keep up to date with new investment products
• Carry out financial modeling and projection.
• Draft and write industry and investment class reports for investment committee or client use.
• Maintenance due diligence.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's in finance or a similar field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
