Business Growth and Development Lead – Aurum Consultants

Our client in the Transport Facilitation Sector is looking for a dynamic Business Growth and Development Lead to join us. We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Business Growth & Development Lead to drive revenue expansion, strengthen operational efficiency, and provide leadership across multiple business units.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Lead client acquisition efforts by developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and building long-term relationships.
• Spearheaded strategy development and execution for ALL business functions to drive growth and sustainability.
• Liaise with the management team to ensure seamless operations across all business units.
• Communicate organizational changes to staff and clients, including crisis communication.
• Ensure adherence to the set standard operating procedure (SOPs) across business functions.
• Review reports from various business functions and units, analyse data, and submit comprehensive insights to the Directors for strategic decision-making.
• Collaboration with business units leads to design and implement ideas that drive customer acquisition and brand growth.
• Work with the accounts department and business units’ heads to prepare budgets and weekly requisitions covering all activities, ensuring timely payments to staff, suppliers, and utilities.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained for financial decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in Business Development.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in business operations and administration
