Description
Role Purpose
The Senior Newgen Workflow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade digital process automation solutions using Newgen iBPS, Newgen CCM, and Newgen DMS. This role supports Equity Group’s Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan (ARRP) by digitizing and automating mission-critical processes across multiple countries, enhancing operational efficiency, compliance, and customer experience. The role requires deep expertise in Newgen BPM, to deliver seamless, integrated, and compliant workflow solutions across the Group’s multi-country operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop business process applications using Newgen iBPS, including form creation, process modeling, rule configuration, and version control. Configure and manage Newgen CCM templates for dynamic, multi-channel customer communications (email, SMS, print).
- Implement and maintain Newgen DMS for secure document storage, indexing, retrieval, and archival.
- Integrate Newgen platforms with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking, CRM, ERP) using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Automation Engineers to embed analytics and intelligence into workflows.
- Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and manage production deployments.
- Monitor workflow performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scalability and compliance.
- Maintain technical documentation including solution architecture, process maps, and integration specifications
Accountabilities
- Digitized and automated workflows using Newgen iBPS.
- Configured CCM templates and communication flows for customer engagement.
- Secure and compliant document repositories using Newgen DMS.
- Seamless integration with enterprise systems and data sources.
- Technical documentation and support for ongoing maintenance and enhancements
- 5–7 years in software development, with 4+ years in workflow and content automation using Newgen platforms.
- Experience in financial services or enterprise automation environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams using tools like Azure DevOps, Smartsheets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification in Newgen iBPS, CCM, or DMS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt is an advantage.
