Job Description
Reporting to the Lead, Network Operations and Support, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), IP Telephony, Contact Center, video conferencing, perimeter and data center firewalls, and monitoring of the infrastructure.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Management (LAN, WAN, Wifi, Internet, Branches, MPLS, VPN, Video conferencing) End user support of remote access VPN and Network Access Control troubleshooting Secure Network Operations by ensuring compliance to configuration standards and patching cycles for network and security devices. Generate reports on network and call center metrics. Liaise with service providers to resolve incidents reported. Incident, Problem and Change Management. Ensure an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets is maintained. Support the regional companies on infrastructure related support and projects.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ experience in networks support including, but not limited to, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, telephony, contact center, video conferencing.
- Experience supporting Network Access Control (NAC).
- Understanding of Network Architecture Models
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Analytical skills and out of the box thinking.
- Knowledge of emerging industry practices
- Proactive in seeking solutions to problems and identifying opportunities.
- Self-driven individual with the discipline to deliver within agreed guidelines and timelines.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP Architecture
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate in Information Systems or related discipline
- Cisco Certified Network Associated (CCNA) certification
- Firewall support certification and training will be an added advantage
ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) EXPECTATION
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring adherence to, implementation of, and adoption of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Sanctions-related policies, procedures, and process requirements within Old Mutual and its subsidiaries. This includes execution of customer due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) standards, conducting ongoing and enhanced due diligence, and maintaining data quality. Additionally, the role involves identifying and monitoring potential AML, Sanctions, or Compliance breaches and unusual activities, and escalating these concerns to the Risk and Compliance Office for further action.
