In this role, you would be responsible for:
Conducting user research and translating insights into compelling design solutions for cash loans, airtime, and health insurance products
Creating end-to-end design experiences using established design systems while ensuring visual cohesion
Developing prototypes and iterating based on user testing and stakeholder feedback
Collaborating with Product Management and Tech teams to define UX strategy for your product area
Implementing and extending our design system to ensure consistency across multiple touchpoints
Conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback to optimize customer experiences
Working directly with customers to understand their needs and validate design decisions
Partnering with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
Contributing to design metrics that demonstrate impact on business outcomes
Your application should demonstrate:
5+ years experience in product design with a focus on customer-facing digital products
Strong UX/UI design skills with proven ability to create intuitive, user-centered designs
Extensive experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions
Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar) and creating interactive prototypes
Experience working with and contributing to design systems from concept to implementation
Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams
Experience with end-to-end product design from research through implementation
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders
Experience in fintech, financial services, or insurance products is highly desirable
