TEACHER (MATHS & FRENCH) AT AURUM CONSULTANTS

Overview of the Position

We are a Christian school in the education sector seeking a qualified  Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and French at  school level.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Mathematics and French aligned with the approved curriculum.
2. Develop subject-specific schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials to support effective teaching and learning.
3. Employ a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and academic levels.
4. Collaborate with fellow teachers and the curriculum coordinator to plan interdisciplinary projects and assessments.

5. Provide clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and real-life applications particularly in Mathematics and French to enhance understanding and interest.
6. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment to ensure student engagement and productivity.
7. Assign, mark, and give timely feedback on classwork, homework, and assessments.

8. Prepare students adequately for internal and external examinations.
9. Monitor academic progress and offer individualized support where needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, with subject specialization in Mathematics and French
2. 2 years relevant experience
3. TSC Registration
4. Valid certificate of good conduct.
