Teacher Assistant at Aurum Consultants

Our client, based in Kahawa West, is looking to fill the position.

Responsibilities

▪️Ensure the shelves, tables, and windows are wiped daily after the learners take lunch.
▪️Ensure both snacks and lunch are served and plates are taken back to the kitchen on time.
▪️Ensure pupils go home smart, i.e., not go home wet. Change them in case they mess themselves.
▪️In case the class teacher is absent, take the role of a teacher to ensure smooth learning.
▪️Escort the learners to the toilet during the different timings in the day.
▪️Carry out any other duty assigned to them by their supervisor (class teacher).
▪️Ensure the learners are settled in case the teachers are not around.
▪️Updating of work in class work books.
▪️Sweep the class every day and ensure furniture is well arranged before going home.
▪️Take up any other role assigned to them outside class by the supervisor.

Qualifications
▪️Must be TSC registered.
▪️A Diploma in ECDE.
▪️Minimum KCSE English grade C.
▪️A trained teacher in training committed and supports the mission and vision of the school.
▪️A team player who is willing to learn and grow in a dynamic school.
▪️A person with a positive attitude and willing to take instructions.
▪️Has the ability to work under minimum supervision.
