LOWER SCHOOL TEACHER (GRADE 1 -3) – Aurum Consultants

Overview of the Position

Our client, a christian school in the education sector, seeks a qualified Lower School Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support students’ holistic development, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

1. Enhance learning environment for high student performance.
2. Effective lesson planning and preparation, creating medium and short-term plans aligned with curriculum standards to ensure comprehensive coverage of content.
3. Classroom discipline and management to maintain a positive learning environment and ensure lessons are conducted smoothly and effectively.
4. Collaborative curriculum development, working with colleagues and curriculum coordinators to refine and enhance subject offerings.
5. Innovative content delivery using enhanced and blended curriculum strategies, integrating ICT creatively to maximize learning outcomes even with limited resources.
6. Regular student assessment and support, identifying learners with challenges and developing tailored support plans to meet their individual needs.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in ECDE
2. 3 years relevant experience
3. TSC Registration
4. Valid certificate of good conduct.
