English/Literature Teacher – Aurum Consultants

Our client, a school in Kiserian, Kajiado County is seeking an individual to fill the above position.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons using learner-centred and CBC-aligned pedagogy
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials
• Assess, track, and document learner progress in line with curriculum standards
• Manage classroom activities to promote discipline and active learning
• Support learners’ language, literacy, and critical thinking skills
• Participate in academic and school-wide programs
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the school administration

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor of Education (English and/or Literature)
  
• Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience
  
• Valid TSC registration (mandatory)
  
• Certified training in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC)
  
• Proven experience implementing CBC at secondary school level
