ACADEMIC REGISTRAR at South Eastern Kenya University

POST OF ACADEMIC REGISTRAR GRADE 3(FORMERLY GRADE 15) - REF: SEKU/ADV/AC/1/08/2025 (1 POSITION)

a) Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this post, a candidate must:

1. Have an earned PhD or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited University.
2. Have a Master’s Degree in relevant area from an accredited and recognized University.
3. Have Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited and recognized University.
4. Have at least fifteen (15) years’ cumulative relevant work experience, four (4) of which must be at senior management level.
5. Demonstrate leadership skills and management of staff at University level.
6. Have management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks cumulatively.
7. Have proven capacity to promote learning teaching and research and development in a University.
8. Be computer proficient and conversant with use of ERP system.
9. Be a member of a recognized professional body (where applicable)
10. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
