The work schedule for this position is: WAE - Intermittent
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Post management is temporarily suspending the use of Highest Previous Rate (HPR) to establish initial salaries at levels above Step one of the grade of the position. This policy will apply to all EFMs newly hired on FMA appointments.

Duties
The Administrative and Program Support Rover position provides administrative, data analysis/report, program/project coordination, or management support to post. In addition to administrative and program support, this position provides cleared escort responsibilities. This position addresses short-term assignments as needed by post including staffing gaps, ad-hoc projects, and/or short-term workload increases. To provide maximum flexibility, this position may be implemented either as regular (full-time or part-time) or intermittent/irregular (a when actually employed) basis. Post HRO or DHRO supervises the Rover position, but the incumbent will receive work guidance from supervisor in currently assigned area.
Qualifications and Evaluations
- Requirements:
Experience:
Three years of office administration and management experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Incumbent will need to have a broad knowledge of the Embassy, including all Agencies. The incumbent will interact with employees from the Embassy and other Agencies as well. Job holder must have a good general knowledge of agency correspondence and other applicable office procedures. The incumbent must be able to respond to some questions from VIP visitors and the Front Office regarding Area. Confidentiality is imperative. Must be able to interact with VIP visitors and the Front Office.

Completion of two years post-secondary education is required.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
English Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing is required.

Requires a TOP SECRET security clearance.
