Description

Purpose:

To handle day to day of client check-in and check-out procedures. Coordinating with fleet supervisor on vehicle availability, delivery and pick up from clients for both rental and transfers, coordinating with fleet supervisor on chauffer drives. Also, supervise other rental sales agents and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate strong sales ability through consistent achievement of counter sales incentive goals.
  2. Prepares and processes rental transactions while obtaining and verifying all required information from the customer.
  3. Educates the customer in the details and availability of optional services; drivers, baby seat, GPS. Advise as an expert on all vehicles in the Avis fleet, all protection items and all extras.
  4. Ensures the ready line has appropriate car classes and quantities available.
  5. Communicates with management to monitor the fluctuating car inventory and availability.
  6. Responds to all customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner both on the telephone and in person.
  7. Follows and maintains Quality Assurance Standards as issued by the organization.
  8. Fills all documents with all the information required.
  9. Assumes responsibility for accurately completing and processing reports and paperwork delegated by management.
  10. Responsible for continuous effort in communicating all company information as it pertains to the Rental Sales Agent.
  11. Responsible for notifying management of any business, employee, safety or customer concerns.
  12. Create the optimal rentals experience by maximizing on sales and service opportunities for every customer.
  13. Greet customers professionally and prepare the rental agreement.
  14. Meet all sales and service standards.
  15. Maintain cleanliness and order in the office area and also vehicles at the station.
  16. Complete daily lists and report to the Supervisor and Manager.
  17. Other job duties as assigned to meet the business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree holder (Preferred).
  • Diploma in Business Administration/Sales or any other relevant field.

Professional/Technical Qualifications

  • Customer Care.
  • Driving license (Preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Skills

  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and good typing skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to use own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor.
