My role involved both office-based cost management and site coordination responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Interpreted architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract quantities and verify scope alignment. Prepared Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimates, and tender documents in line with project specifications and client requirements. Reviewed technical specifications to ensure material and workmanship compliance with Kenyan and British Standards. Conducted site inspections, ensured adherence to safety protocols, and assisted in enforcing safe work practices around heavy machinery and elevated works. Collaborated with project teams to ensure cost control, progress tracking, and smooth coordination between consultants, contractors, and supervisors.
