SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – Aurum Consultants

Our client, a learning institution in Kiserian, Kajiado County, is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the above position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices.

• Match invoices with delivery notes before payment.

• Prepare payment vouchers and schedule payments.

• Reconcile accounts payable and supplier statements.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

• Generate reports on payables and supplier balances.

• Support audits and ensure compliance with standards.

• Track budgets and highlight variances.

• Manage petty cash and tender transactions.

• Assist with accounts receivable as needed.

• Ensure statutory deductions and timely tax filings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance

• 4+ years relevant accounting experience

• CPA (K)

• Experience working in a school set-up

• Experience with QuickBooks
