Head of Department (Dean) – English – Aurum Consultants

Our client, a school based in Kiserian, Kajiado, is looking to fill the above position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the English Department.
• Teach English to high school learners using CBC/CBE standards.
• Oversee curriculum delivery, assessments, and academic records.
• Mentor teachers and support instructional improvement.
• Monitor learner performance and implement interventions.
• Ensure departmental compliance with TSC, KICD, and CBC guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (English/Literature) or related field with PGDE.
• TSC Registration Number – Mandatory.
• CBC/CBE trained and compliant.
• Minimum 5 years teaching English at high school level.
• Experience in academic leadership or departmental coordination.
• Strong classroom management and digital literacy.
