UNDERWRITING INTERN – Aurum Consultants

Our client in the insurance industry is urgently seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Intern, equipped with a strong interest in insurance products and a commitment to delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Insurance, or Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, or Executive Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Membership with the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK) is an added advantage.
• Strong interest in insurance underwriting, risk assessment, and insurance products.
• Basic understanding of insurance principles, policy documentation, and underwriting procedures.
• Ability to interpret information, pay attention to detail, and support underwriting decisions under supervision.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced insurance environment.
