Officer II/Project Development at Communications Authority of Kenya

This is the entry and training grade for Degree holders in this cadre. Duties and responsibilities in this position shall entail assisting in: -

i.          Supporting Fund Mobilization,

ii.        Supporting Development and implementation of USF Strategy,

iii.      Participating in identification of ICT access gaps in areas considered as un-served, under-served and hard-to-serve,

iv.      Participating in drafting development of Terms of Reference to facilitate development of approved Fund Projects tender documentation,

v.        Participating in field visit to implement project baselines surveys,

vi.      Provide inputs in draft reports,

vii.    Participating in providing inputs Project budget estimates and monitor Expenditure.

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

i.          Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or any other related field from a recognized institution,

ii.        Proficiency in computer applications,

iii.      Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
