Description

Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a highly skilled and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the company’s marketing function and drive brand growth across Kenya.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong commercial acumen, proven experience in developing effective marketing campaigns and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy in line with business goals.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor brand campaigns to increase market visibility and product uptake.
  • Lead product marketing initiatives including market positioning, pricing strategies, and product launches.
  • Manage digital marketing activities including social media, content creation, SEO/SEM, and online campaigns.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior studies to guide decision-making.
  • Develop annual marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Manage external agencies, creative partners, and suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Coordinate trade marketing initiatives, activations, promotions, and merchandising activities.
  • Oversee brand consistency across all communication channels and touch points.
  • Support the sales team with marketing materials, product information, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Track, measure, and report on marketing performance metrics and ROI.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team to deliver on performance targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 of years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a manufacturing, FMCG, or related industry.
  • Agency is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and consumer insights.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data-driven marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in marketing software, CRM tools, and digital platforms.
  • High level of creativity, innovation, and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
