KISWAHILI & CREATIVE ARTS TEACHER (GRADE 4-6) – Aurum Consultants Limited

Overview of the Position

Our client, a Christian school based in Kasarani, is seeking a qualified Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Kiswahili and Creative Arts at the middle school level.

Responsibilities

1. Teach fun and creative lessons in art, music, or drama that follow the school’s curriculum.
2.  Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities to help children learn creative skills.
3.  Help pupils explore their talents and express themselves in different artistic ways.
4.  Use different teaching methods to support all participants, no matter their learning style or skill level.
5.   Work with other teachers to plan projects that include both art and other subjects.
6.  Organize art displays, shows, or performances where children can share their work.
7.  Check their work and give helpful feedback to help them improve.
8.  Create a safe, friendly, and fun classroom where everyone feels free to be creative.
9.  Keep track of how each child is doing and give extra help when needed.
10. Teach appreciation for the value of art in life, culture, and history.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, with subject specialization.
2. 3 years relevant experience
3. TSC Registration
4. Valid certificate of good conduct.
