 Members – Audit Committee (2 Positions)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight on risk management, controls, and governance.
• Follow up on audit recommendations.
• Periodically review the effectiveness of the Audit Committee.
• Maintain independence and integrity in decision-making.

Requirements:

• Kenyan citizen with a strong understanding of County Government operations and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in auditing or financial management.
• Membership in IIA, ICPAK, or CISA (in good standing).
• Computer proficiency and proven leadership ability.

Note:
Members of the Audit Committee shall serve for three (3) years, renewable once upon satisfactory performance.
They shall not be past or present employees of the County Assembly or any entity that has conducted business with it.
