We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician who will be based at our Nairobi Factory in Industrial area.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
• Replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and mechanical systems.
• Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and testing of equipment after installation.
• Interpret technical drawings and manuals during setup.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear or potential issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Participate in machine loss eradication through analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.  
• Observe safe working behavior and maintain safe working environment. .
• Test mechanical systems to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Organize and manage mechanical parts inventory.
• Request new tools or parts when necessary
• Participate in WCM process improvement teams for loss eradication.
• Communicate effectively with Manager/Engineers regarding job progress and issues

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2- 5 years relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures. 
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools.
• Knowledge in TPM.
