French Teacher at Aurum Consultants

To deliver high-quality French language instruction to students, foster a positive learning environment, and promote appreciation of the French language and culture in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons in line with the school curriculum and CBC standards.
2. Assess and monitor students’ progress through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that accommodate diverse learning needs.
4. Maintain student discipline in accordance with school policies.
5. Organize and support co-curricular activities related to French language and culture.
6. Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work, and lesson plans aligned to CBC.
7. Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and school administration on academic progress.
8. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school activities.
9. Uphold professional ethics and contribute positively to the school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in French
2. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
3. TSC registration is mandatory.
4. Must be CBC compliant with proven experience in delivering the Competency-Based Curriculum.
5. Strong classroom management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to integrate ICT into teaching is an added advantage.
