KINDERGARTEN TEACHER AT AURUM CONSULTANTS

Overview of the Position

We are a Christian school in the education sector seeking a qualified Kindergarten Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating early childhood learning through play-based and interactive teaching methods, while nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and academic development of young learners.

Responsibilities

1. Cater to and enhance the precise needs and learning styles of each learner.
2. Making and following schemes of work prepared as required 
3. Assisting the curriculum coordinator in the particular subject curriculum organization
4. Preparation of medium and short-term plans in conjunction with the other members of the subject to ensure the curriculum is being followed
5. Teaching lessons at the times stipulated on the school timetable.

6. Maintaining order and good discipline among learners during class time.
7. Ensuring sound class control and lessons are taking part as they should be by ensuring and monitoring discipline among learners in the subject lesson.

8. Setting and marking of work to be done in school and for homework.
9. Providing a stimulating working environment in the classroom
10. Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the various learners based on their abilities, and ranges in their classrooms      

Qualifications

1. Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECDE)
2. 2 years of relevant experience
3. TSC Registration
4. Valid certificate of good conduct

4. Computer Skills
