Early Post Doctoral Researcher -Yellow Fever

• •Coordination of sampling, sample shipment and other study procedures

• •Perform immunological assays

• •Develop or adapt assays for the assessment of yellow fever antibodies and other emerging pathogens

• •Adapt existing and develop new scientific techniques and experimental protocols

• •Provide supervision and training support for junior lab members

• •Collaborate in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles and occasionally present papers and posters

• •Manage own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines

• •Use specialist scientific equipment in a laboratory environment

• •Generate, analyse and keep an updated record of all the experimental results

• •Collaborate with internal and external partners in immunology and vaccine development

• •Perform any other comparable duties as may be required to ensure the efficient running of the laboratory

• •Be responsible with others for the biological safety of the laboratory
