About me
It is my pleasure to submit my resume for the above mentioned and previously advertised position. I believe that in addition to my professional training in Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Project Management, My experience that spans over ten years in business development, Sales and Marketing, strategic business acquisition and stakeholder engagement across multiple industries and portfolios uniquely positions me to be able to add value to the organization.
In my previous role as Marketing Manager, I have successfully developed and implemented comprehensive marketing and communications strategies. I have a keen understanding of the financial service sector, having worked in banking, investments and real estate, tailoring marketing initiatives that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. My experience in collaborating with stakeholders (internal and external) is a key skill that I will bring to this role. This has previously involved collaborating with various stakeholders such as funding partners, industry influencers, key strategic partners, industry associations, sales agents through coordinating/facilitating events to build and strengthen these relationships, to enhance brand recognition and drive demand generation. I have spearheaded joint marketing programs and initiatives to maximize revenue and led market research and analysis efforts to identify relevant trends, customer needs, and competition in regional markets, ensuring our strategies were data-driven and targeted.
In my role as a Sales and Marketing Manager, I have created compelling and localized marketing content in digital marketing and above the line Marketing. I am skilled in creating engaging content for various digital channels, including social media, websites, email newsletters, and blog posts. I am confident in my ability to adapt marketing strategies to diverse regional contexts and effectively convey the company’s message to different audiences. I successfully implemented thought leadership initiatives that elevated the brand’s image and positioned the companies’ products as desirable options for their target markets.
In addition, I have conducted research and chaired the product development committee for new products. Together with the credit department have come up with rules or changes in the products to enhance market uptake, minimize risk and increase our bottom line. In addition, I have managed the company’s sales teams and initiatives to enable teams meet their targets.
In addition to these, I am an upstanding citizen with a passion for good processes and systems that support team members to excel and execute their duties with efficiency. To this end, I have experience in orienting and on-boarding new team members on protocol and initiating plans for various team members and to improve planning and service execution.
